I made a mistake on a job application and told the HR lady who interviewed me, but she must've forgotten. I filled out my job history backwards and it had asked for my pay in that position. She thought the lower paying job I had previously worked was my current job. The job I applied for paid up to about $38-$39 and I requested $33 to start. It felt like she wasn't taking me seriously at all and then at the end recommended other positions that pay about $16-$17. I reminded her that I had made a mistake on the application and she suddenly decided to push my application on to the next step for the position I applied for after seeing my current pay. That's some bullshit considering I don't work nearly as hard now as I previously did, I just make more money in the exact same field of work.
