Long story short I work as a salesperson. I am on suspension since yesterday and tomorrow I have a meeting with HR. Over the last year I have been quite vocal about my perceived weaknesses of management (aka I've had a few meltdowns about it). The misconduct email stated this along with some other things which are somewhat true.
The main one I have concern with is one that is half true and the worst to have misunderstood. I am prescribed medicinal cannabis for various health conditions. As I have had such success I've been open to other employees about its success and encouraged some of them with similar issues to check them out. I have offered some of them to try an oral oil of cb2 oil (health food store, not illicit), not CBD (not illicit but regulated) which I think they have mistaken. Or someone has mistaken. The misconduct is to the tune of 'pushed' medicinal cannabis and offered it on shift. Which is inaccurate.
At the end of the day I'm ready to leave the company and welcome being let go. However I'm so unsettled about the cannabis thing because this is not really accepted in Australia and I'm lucky to have it. How likely am i to have this go further than just getting fired?
