It's a 4 person job, at least. There were two people today, myself included. That one person had to go to lunch. So, here I am, solo in the service deli, slicing meat and cheese for people, cooking raw chicken, cooking sides, serving up salads, cleaning the machines periodically, and serving fried chicken (while making 8pcs to go out on the floor). All while I've only been working here about 3 to 4 weeks.
I'm being paid minimum wage, working at roughly twice the rate that I can go without physical and mental damage. Today initiated my fight or flight response so strongly that I'm sitting here now on lunch petrified, barely able to move.
I've never had a job cause psychological damage like this. I just want to go home and end it
