So I'm a cashier at grocery store. And we scan produce of course
And well today my main manager said that i need to scan the produce and hit a certain percentage or else i will get written up and be suspended for a day.
She then explained other cashiers are doing 90% instead of 60%
I'm honestly thinking, you care more about me scanning precious produce than me having baggers
Not i try to scan whenever possible. I just don't scan stuff that doesn't have the barcodes or never did have barcodes like celery. So i just type in the code or look it up at my computer. I can't scan what's not there
Thing is I used to have all the produce barcodes on a journal. But i left it at work one night. Talked to my manager and said i'll come by tomorrow and pick it up. She said okay. And guess who threw it away? I'm not making another one, that thing took me forever to do and money
