I’m going to be working as a paid intern. Any useful advice for me so that my employer won’t screw me over?

My employer is a NGO collecting, cleaning, refurbishing and donating donated laptops. My internship will be for half a year, 800 SGD per month (for 4.5 months). Monday to Friday, 1000 to 1900 hours.
