Title says it all. I’m peoples’ boss now for the first time ever. I want to do it right and not be the shitty boss that people quit their job over.
We all WFH so I only see my employees on Zoom or similar platforms. As such, my employees are all independent self-starters. I don’t want to disrupt the flow but there is a major disconnect in my department as far as being a team. Some of my employees don’t even know what the others do, and I can tell the training has been lacking. I want a strong team with people who feel comfortable coming to me with any issues or even to brag about something they are proud of.
Any suggestions (serious only please) is greatly appreciated.
