Response from the owner6 hours ago Thanks for the review insert name here! Your fiancé insert name here from Crawfordsville, IN had applied for our barn help and lesson instructor position. The position requirememts upfront were reliable transportation and be able to perform duties required for normal beginner lesson program. Prior to starting Reba had fallen off her own horse, and reached back out to me stating she was okay and still wanted the job. 4 days after starting and agreeing to cover the barn while we were 4 1/2hrs away at a horse show, Reba called at 11:37pm and stated her brakes went out in her car and we could hear what sounded like her mother in the background giving her instructions on what to say. Thanks for the review insert name here! When asked if she couldn't cover the barn and if we needed to pack up and come home she said she could borrow a vehicle. At 7am the very next morning, she called back and said she couldn't cover the barn because of her shoulder from the fall she had prior to starting. We immediately had to start making phone calls to get someone to cover the barn so we could pack up and come home from the show. She didn't have reliable transportation, she couldn't perform the very basic tasks of the job, once the “brakes” didn't work then it was her shoulder, and she left us/our horses unattended at the last minute, not including the 5 lessons she had scheduled the same day. Furthermore, she was paid in full for her services and understood the agreement on cancelations of lessons within 24hrs. I do appreciate the phone call Sat evening from you trying to portray yourself as a lawyer, and then screaming profanity at both my wife and I that you are “coming for us” and then continuing via text that I'm sure you would rather me not post here. Lastly, as these reviews are public and almost every barn owner in 100 mile radius speaks with each other on new individuals trying start in the equine industry your complete unprofessionalism from yourself and Page isn't going to help her equine resume. I'm still waiting to hear from your lawyer and look forward to the discussion with him/her.

he used our names and were we lived and is threatening to slander us for because we spoke out about him firing her for a injury he said he would accommodate.
