I (20F) work as a hostess at a family restaurant, and recently came down with a cold. Symptoms started this past sunday night. It's tuesday now and I know that I'll be hit with the runny nose, insane congestion, etc, by the time I wake up tomorrow. I had already texted my manager that I will not be coming in, and unfortunately the responsibility of finding coverage is on me. This past monday I had already denied a coworker coverage when she had a stomach bug (it was my day off and I was feeling ill anyway). I'm worried I won't be able to find coverage and will be forced to go in. I have been told by family and friends that I should stay home anyway, but I am the only hostess on for tomorrow's shift and I'm scared how this will fall back on me. Any advice?
