I’m really starting to hate my job

So, I’ve been working a part time job as a bagger at my local grocery store for almost 3 months now. The only reason I even got this job was because I’m a junior in high school and I wanted some work experience before I went off to college while also saving up some money for myself. Honestly, it was pretty nice at first. My co-workers were very friendly, and the mangers were pretty helpful. Well, most of them. One of them, who I will not name, is a lot harsher than the other two. While she’s okay for the most part, she makes some pretty unnecessary demands. For example, I was scheduled to work one day, but I had something else come up. I tried to explain this to her, and she replied that I should have requested that day off in advance.

The thing is, I didn’t know about this event until after I was scheduled, but she refused to listen to me. I had to come in one day and beg her to help me find someone else to take my shift before she finally listened to me.

Anyway, now we’re at today. Like I said before, I’m in high school. I’m in the band at my school, and we have band camp throughout the summer. I asked for the days off, since I wouldn’t be able to come in anyway, but I was denied by her. Why? Because I failed to provide a 2-week notice. While this might seem like a fault on my part, there’s more context to the story. A few weeks before this, the store had changed the login info on the website. For some reason, however, my password wasn’t working anymore, and they had not set up a way to rest your password. I spent a solid two weeks asking my mangers how to fix my password, and they all kept pushing me onto someone else before I finally got the problem sorted out. Long story short, I couldn’t request the days off because I couldn’t access my account, something she knew about but clearly chose to ignore. So now, I have to find someone who can take my shift, or try to explain the situation to her, which I know won’t work.

Tl;dr I’m already tired of this job. The pay is nice, and I love my coworkers, but this manger is just a constant thorn in my side. If anyone has any advice, fell free to let me know. Sorry this is so long, I just needed to get this off my chest
