I know that they are not the enemy and are just trying to their best in a unjust system but damn they get on my nerves.
Started doing a job and the workload just seemed to be absolutely unbearable. Managers kept telling me how the previous worker got on with no complaints and how I should change this or that. Later on after talking to colleagues, I find out that my predecessor was working till late in the night, most nights. Even taking work home. She did not inform the bosses of this and they went along thinking she was completing everything in working hours!!
This story just goes to show how you putting in extra just makes everything worse for the people who come up after you.
