I have been stung along by a company that made me an “independent contractor” for four months, with information and responses slow to come from “owners/managers”. The thing is, the owners primarily employ people from their own “church” j witnesses, and while I have been tolerant and clear that that isn’t my faith, they have continued to fire people of diverse backgrounds and hire their own church members without relevant experience or expertise. Now I feel that I am being soft fired, being moved to a contractor position and then not given the hours/work to make living possible. Listen, I’m lucky as fuck, I have a spouse and savings to prevent terrible consequences but I want to hit back at these theistic clowns. What can I do? I’m in Georgia USA.
