I'm not talking in the weird Google/Meta “work IS your social life” kind of way, either.
How do I make it rewarding enough to keep people around, instead of having to job hop every few years? How do I keep people who work for me happy and healthy? These are the kinds of things I want to know, and this sub seems like the right place to get straight to the point advice.
Some things I have seen so far:
– Don't encroach on people's personal time
– Have a 4 day work week
– Hire internally if you have qualified applicants
– Make sure compensation matches the current job market/keeps up with inflation
What else am I missing?
