It’s hard to take these people seriously when I scrape by paycheck to paycheck even with a job that pays decently due to the high housing costs in my state. I’ve been looking at other jobs for about a year and a half and everything I find looks about as soul crushing as the last with a bonus 50%+ paycut from my current position.
