I just recently quit my job that is based out of North Carolina. It is a trucking company. Theyre refusing to have me bring the truck back to their home terminal even though I've offered to run until they can get me there. They're trying to withold both this week and the next weeks pay out, make me pay for towing it back to north Carolina, and have me pay a 250 dollar termination fee. The fee is in my contract and abandonment of a vehicle has been covered, but I'm trying to bring it back to their terminal. Any advice would be appreciated. They lease through penske and best I can do is leave the truck at a penske yard and turn keys into a shop employee. Is there anything I can do?
