I have been with my company for about 8 years in one department and recently was told I would be given to a new department and reporting to the director in that department. Told it is because that team is building out a group which fits more in line with what I do. Not sure how to feel, just feel like a player traded although at the same company. Has anyone had an experience like or similar to this? I guess the one bummer is coaches or in this case directors usually don’t want to give up an asset or someone they actually like to a different team or department.
