I have 16 years of experience in a licensed professional role, sterling references, and recently left a terrible narcissistic CEO to find a new role. 40 applications, only 6 responded, 1 offer below market rate, I withdrew 1 based on the hiring manager’s religious fanaticism on display, 4 complete ghosts. Multiple phone interviews, lunches, multiple in person interviews… and all 4 just dropped off the grid and ghosted me. Why is it so hard to be decent?!?
