Is a max 30h position possible as a PhD?

Hey everyone, I am currently doing my PhD in the field of Chemistry and me and my collueges were discussing whether this is possible. It is somehow crazy that you want to get good education so that you have to work less for a good amount of money but with a certain education level end up in positions were you usually work 50h+ as some project manager. More and more friends of mine are choosing time over money and they all say it was the best decision they made. Considering that I play and make music in my free time and also earn money with it I am more and more in love with the idea to find a job with max 30h after I finish. Are there any chemists or PhDs in here who found a way to get such a position and where should I look? Cheers!
