I saw a screenshot from a post on this sub with a lot of upvoted saying something along the lines of «not everyone has to contribute to society in some way». Is this an accepted idea on here? I personally conpletely disagree and think it is a fundamental part of the social contract that we all contribute for one another. I believe that contributing is in your interest.
Edit: I don’t mean that children, elders and people struggling with mental and physical health need to work! I was talking about people who are of the age and are able to work
