Is it BS that my employer believes having a food break any less than an hour into my shift, is a bad look?

I worked as a third shift stocker for a grocery store. The purpose for having my food that early is because I woke up about a half hour before I went in and was unable to score some breakfast. Sometimes it was because I didn’t wake myself up early enough, but other times I worked a lot of overtime and in order to obtain 8 hours of sleep, I would have to sleep very close to my shift start time. About the second time I did this, my manager comes up to me and whispers “Are you trying to get me in trouble?” “Why? I asked.” “It’s a bad look, they don’t like us taking food breaks so early.” And I legit explained to her what I typed earlier in the post and followed up with a “Do you want me to starve or? Cause I need that energy in…

She wasn’t a dick about it and I’m happy things didn’t go south but I kind of just thought it was BS. What do you think?
