Today I pickup the phone at work and a guy called in and said he couldn’t work today in a certain department, I asked no questions as it’s not my business, and I go tell my leader and he tells me that next time I need to tell him to talk to him so he knows what’s going on , because he needs more information for some reason, I then tell him he didn’t tell me but I told him I don’t know the reason and that he’s not obligated to tell me or him why he’s not coming in today.
