My wife is starting work with a company doing insurance sales from home. It's hourly with commission. They are requiring her to do a week of unpaid training classes 5 hours a day via zoom meetings. Is this legal? She says that almost all places are like this but I think it's wrong to not pay someone for their time when almost everyone is living paycheck to paycheck. Any thoughts or suggestions?
