I’m only asking this cause my managers terrify me. I might just have a problem with authority figures though.
What makes it more difficult is that whenever I need something and I email them, their responses look very mean or maybe it’s just like that in my head. Im not to sure. But it also just seems like they have no idea what they’re doing. There was a couple times where I was working for over 5 hours and I didn’t get my 35 minute break, I just got to go home 10 minutes early. I also have a problem with phone calls so I usually email them that I’m not able to come into work that day and they always tell me that they need me to call in so they can find a replacement and that they’re not always at their computer. I know for a fact that that’s a lie because they barely come out of their office. Then they expect us to clean the whole place when there are only a couple of us working at a time. Then when some of my managers are in a mood they tend to take it out on the staff and I’ve asked to be transferred to another location where my sister works but they would have to do a lot of paperwork and go through corporate which they don’t wanna do.
I don’t know if I should even be afraid of them for these things but I definitely don’t like them for them
EDIT: I’ve had two other jobs and I’ve never been afraid of my managers at those jobs.
