Is it possible for me to get reprimanded for taking my 15 within the last 30 min of my shift?

For the details, I work Healthcare on the dme side. I process o2, walkers, wheelchairs, all that fun stuff. I'm pretty usually on time for my scheduled breaks and take them when I'm supposed to but I had a complex case today that consisted of a split order because my patient was in a different state and then I needed to file the paper work resulting in me taking my break now, at 5pm even though I get off at 530. My case was stressful with a lot of hoops to jump through and I felt I'm still entitled to my break, yknow. I still worked my hours and cared adequately for my patient to ensure her dme was delivered to the right place with a trusted party for when she returns home from out of state. But my boss, a few months ago, said that we are forbidden from taking breaks within the last hour of our shift and I was wondering if that's legal? Are they allowed to tell us we're not allowed to take our breaks? Not sure if this should be in here or r/legaladvice but im not sure if I can get in trouble for this. I wfh and I went on my break anyways because yea fuck that shit lol.
