Is it possible to become a manager and not change?

I have the opportunity to become a manager of the current group I'm in. I never wanted to become a manager before because they always change into these entitled, fake, corporate worshipping slaves. Is it possible to be a manager and not change? I feel like I'll be the best manager to by team, but the worst manager for my career
