Is it smart to ask an employer during an interview why other candidates didn’t work out?

For jobs I'm moderately interested in, I've been considering asking them why other candidates weren't going to work out with them so I could figure out how to basically one up them by offering what they couldn't, whether it be overtime, or a certain unstable schedule, or risks involved, but I'd like your feedback on if this sounds too unprofessional.
