This occurred to me the other day, maybe I'm late to the game. For any job considered by whomever to be unskilled, can you, or I, or anyone off the street perform that job, after one day, as efficiently as someone who has done the job for a month or longer? The answer, almost assuredly, is no. Result: it's skilled labor!
