Is my job really as good as I’m supposed to believe?

I currently work for a decently big retail company and recently had an experience that made me re-think who I was really working for. For some information, I’m a customer service manager, get paid $19.50/hr (more than minimum wage where I live), I work from home but I have no benefits. I’ve been working there for a year and my position to manager was only recently, I got a raise with it which is why I make this amount now. Is this really a good job or should I look for something else? I wanted to stay here because there’s potential to move up in the company but I’m beginning to re-think it and look for something more long term. I feel like I’m getting underpaid and mistreated for the amount of work I do…
