Is this legal? Friend is quitting and HR is quoting this part of the employee handbook. My research is showing that they can’t refuse to pay out accrued PTO upon separation in Colorado thanks to a June 2021 Supreme Court Ruling. There’s also two contradicting statements in the handbook.
