I had a phone interview which went terribly. No connection with the interviewer, lots of moments of silence, awkward to say the least. Mainly down to me answering their questions but the interviewer just stayed quiet after I'd finished. Honestly threw me off and my form went to bits lol. However I had a great phone interview for a different job a few days before this so I know I'm capable and this was just an off day (I hope 🤣)
With that said, the interview that went well hasn't gotten back to me so I'm presuming it's game over, however I've been sent starter forms and will be receiving an induction date for the job I mentioned first.
My guess is that the company is mass recruiting for warehouse staff and is literally just hiring anyone because there's no way I passed that interview.
Not even moving on to in person interviews, just given an induction and start work? All seems a bit fishy tbh, especially as it's a national company with thousands of employees. Is this modern day recruiting?
I know it's just a low paid warehouse job that's not a proper career but when I've applied to other shitty jobs, I've had to dance through hoops and assessment days for minimum wage work. Hell, even volunteer work is harder to get than this.
Is it too good to be true?
