It is possible to leave America.

I've seen quite a few posts about people saying that because they don't have money they can't leave America and wanted to say that from experience it is a possibility. I left America after university to teach English. I had a ton of student loan debt and no money. I worked all summer in a factory to save up enough for a plane ticket and the first few weeks (in which I had to be very very dear with money) til I was paid. However, once I had made it I was able to live way more comfortably than in America. Many teaching jobs pay for your housing along with salary and other benefits like insurance (even if they don't, which is very very rare, health care is much more affordable in every other country I've been). I was able to pay off 10k in student loans the first year…

I was able to pay off 10k in student loans the first year and have been able to travel to a lot of countries as housing and COL are so much better than in America.

If teaching is not your thing, there are also visa options to work on a farm/in the hospitality industry like in Australia, or there are many other specialized jobs (marketing, gaming, sales are a few I've seen). I will say, many of these do require a Bachelor's, but there are some that do not.

Even if you have kids, for teaching especially many schools pay for your kids' education.

I have had friends from third world countries who able to move and live abroad (single and with kids).

I get these might not be dream jobs or be stressfree beach travels and living abroad has its own struggles, but there ARE options out there for leaving America, and sometimes, as in my case, these jobs can lead to better opportunities and a much, much more affluent life than I had in America.
