So basically I work for Company A.
I am a senior sales person with 10 years experience in my industry. Currently I gather information from customers and also sell products to customers in the telecom world. This could be to businesses or individuals.
I get paid quite well, the works tiresome, long and challenging with the sales aspect taking up to a week to close the sale.
I work alongside a secondary Company, let's call it company B. These guys don't sell, but just gather customer information and send it to Company A as sales leads…..
I then find out that Company B pay their staff 65% higher than I get paid, they do less work, less stress and absolutely 0 sales.
The biggest joke is, Company B are directly paid by Company A, the bloody company I work for!!!
Spoke to my boss about a pay rise and he laughed, said it makes no sense to pay me more if they don't have too and recommended I left to work for Company B.
Absolutely frustrated and embarrassed, I called my contact at Company B and start in 2 weeks. Stuck my middle fingers up and now can't wait to earn more and do less. I'm even considering doing a 4 day week instead of 5 and still get paid more than I do now, mwhahaha.
Sometimes this world makes absolutely no sense and I still can't fathom it.
