It took three interviews to determine they won’t be moving forward with my application. What a complete waste of time.

Is this normal to waste people’s time like this? Aside from the three interviews that I felt went well, their Talent department had me hold four more time slots for availability that made it rather frustrating providing availability to other opportunities I’m trying to interview for. I hate these interview games..
