So much for that. Just had an interview at a movie theater where I would mostly only be cleaning EMPTY theaters but my hair dark purple is out of dress code.. but I watched a man with 2 ft long hair, down, no hairnet working with all the food. I quit dude it's so unprofessional to me to equate someone's skill to having colored hair.
If I can do the job and no one else is following dress code anyway why the fuck does it matter?! Probably just an excuse to not have to hire and claim “no one wants to work” we want to work but we want to be respected enough that hair color shouldn't matter and don't want to be a slave to the crippling $10hr life.
My hair isn't the one doing the job!
Rant over. I'm just so disappointed in the reality of these old mf not getting it through their heads.
