It’s A Time Sheet.

Hey folks, care of a recent time clock malfunction incident at work I decided to whip up this spreadsheet to track my time independently. After signing off on a written documentation of my times during the malfunction week wherein a lot of rounding was involved I thought *never again.* (Actually the first thought was “*this is the shit that I was worried about re taking a non-salaried position*” but anyone who's been salaried in food service knows that isn't always a good idea, per se) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19UtblbYD7rzBjZqs0wYGzzEJ1U-3j17xUcERUCuJv9w/edit?usp=sharing If you're unfamiliar with Google Sheets and want to use this you can either select File -> Download or File -> Make A Copy. If you're unfamiliar with Google Sheets and want to use this you can either select File -> Download or File -> Make A Copy. Or just shift-select the whole thing and C&P into a new sheet. You do you.

To use it just sub your pay rate for the “$0.01” placeholder and enter your times including either AM or PM. It won't total your hours for the day until you've entered all of them (in, break, out) and you'll have to calculate your own tax deductions – I left mine in as a placeholder – as well as any other deductions on yer stub (just add up the additional non-tax deductions and add “-” to the formula in the Net cell; =J4*K$1-*yourDeductions*). The formula for $Gross factors in time-and-a-half pay after 40hrs worked, $Net takes out taxes/deductions. If you want to add more weeks just shift-select an existing week and C&P below.
