I just did and it was simple but I long process
I worked for 30 yrs saved as much as I could while paying off all debts
Invested traveled as much as my job allowed which was 2-3 weeks a year I lived within my means
2 divorces two houses and when I turned 50 I quit
No debt only my mi thy expenses for taxes food utilities etc so I went or Central America for a month surfed everyday can back and got a part time job that covers my expenses
Put your head down and do the work and you can get out while your still relatively young
Next plan is gonna be an extended road trip through Baja
