I was tasked to train a new person this week but was not asked to do so. After 1 day I spoke to the Manager and said I wanted 5$ extra for every hr I train him they said no I said I'm not training him then he said you have to I said really why? he said because I said so. I called my union rep and HR I asked HR am I supposed to provide any training they said no that's the supervisor's job really I said well someone should tell my Manager because he made it my responsibility I called the Union office and filled a complaint I got a call back before my next shift I got the next 3 days off with pay because the supervisor now has to train him because the training I provided was not valid and never should have happened.
