It’s not even that bad…

Been a “professional” for 10 years, switched jobs last summer after 8 years in my previous role. It's not overtly toxic. People are relatively kind, though a bit full of themselves. There's no community, compassion, or understanding amongst the team aside from your ability to “move the work forward.” I spend my weekend's with anxiety about what fresh hell the week ahead will bring. I miss enjoying my days and the people I'm around. I miss not feeling utterly decimated after a work day. I frequently daydream of putting in my notice immediately (mainly for my mental health) but money? Insurance? Not sure what is the best move besides internally wanting to bash my head into the wall. Applying to other gigs just seems useless because is it any better anywhere else? What if it's not this specific culture I'm over but the culture of “work” as we've defined it…

Lost, confused, and bitter. Trying not to lose hope but if anyone wants to move off-grid and build a self-sustaining community where there are no bosses and no 9-5s, let me know.
