Like what the actual fuck is America right now? Forcing us to have babies so that we can send them off to the slaughter and no one cares enough to change anything. This is just the cost of freedom for gun lovers.
I’ve been sitting in trainings all day long, with my camera off because I’ve been sobbing. I’m in school to be an elementary school teacher and keep seeing all the faces of the kids that I love and can’t stop picturing them in the situation that happened yesterday in Texas. Or I’m just thinking about all those babies last moments, how horrible today must be for their families, the teachers that are expected to lay down their lives for kids now.
If this wasn’t so fucking normal for this country, we would come to a grinding halt to mourn this loss. My trainer is even from Texas and is just peppy and business as usual and no one has mentioned a damn thing about it.
I hate it here.
