So I'm a part time bartender. It's a small craft bar so its usually not busy and on weekdays Im alone from opening to closing.
Every Monday my boss the owner takes a shift himself and today he asked for someone to cover for his later part of the shift, which I offered to do.
Well when I show up, almost two hours after opening he had hardly done any of the opening chores. Only the ones kinda required to be able to open. And he just shrugged and said he got distracted and was therefore also late and didnt open on time, which is not an excuse I could use lol.
So I had to do the rest of the daily cleaning and other chores usually done at/before opening, which he and his wife reminds us of if we the staff forget. How does he expect us to do these things if he's too lazy himself?
I know its not a big deal I just had to vent :/
