It’s your bosses job to convince you that you are worth less. Don’t believe them when they say:

1. Nobody is paying more.
2. You don’t have the skills/experience for anything else.
3. Last in, first out.
4. If you change jobs now, you’ll have to start back at the bottom.
5. If you stay here, and the market crashes, we’ll take care of you, others companies will just lay you off.

I’ve heard it all, and none of it is necessarily true. My boss is constantly undermining my intelligence and making me think I’d be lost without him. 🧐
