I work at walmart neighborhood market and since May they shifted the stockers from evening to overnight, After spending some time suffering with severe insomnia I had before I even went into nights, I realized that the lil extra wage isn't worth it and that this work schedule is very inconvenient to not just my health but many other factors. So within the last few weeks I've been requesting the HR and store managers to take a day time position but I've always been responded with “I'll see what I can do” only to never be said to me again about it, that's even though many other departments are under handed including the day time remodel crew while my own particulary isn't but it seems as if they would rather wait for someone else to go through the entire hiring process and background check for someone else than approve a request made by a non-management employee who can fill up a urgent position in an instant.
