JB Hunt corporate office gave our department a $5,000 salary raise in January. Bringing us to $45,000 (entry level. not sure what other people make obviously). We previously had a 7.5% max quarterly raise, but immediately after announcing our salary raise they cut out bonus from the cumulative 30% (7.5%x4 quarters) per year… to just 16%. Effectively meaning they gave us a $200 salary raise.
Old pay and bonus: 40,000 x 1.30 = $52,000
New pay and bonus: 45,000 x 1.16 = $52,200
Effectively giving us a 0.38% raise. Or about $4 per paycheck.
The entirety of the pandemic was remote work. They forced return to office in April. We are now allowed to work from home ONE day per week only (very strictly only one day). Even with astronomical gas prices we are not allowed to work from home more than one day a week. My fiance and I have started carpooling to save money on gas.
This is a pointless rant. But I'm pissed off. Figure y'all would appreciate how shite this is and how we're getting fucked over.
