It used to be that I could land a job if I just got an interview. I now have had a couple of interviews for positions about which I was (really) excited and been rejected.
The rejection I got today was heartbreaking, to be honest. I was really excited about the opportunity. I thought I clicked well with my interviewers, provided great answers to their questions, asked good questions. I provided a glowing recommendation letter. I am qualified, experienced, educated. I prepared and did (albeit a small amount) some research for the position.
I was fully expecting an offer email. Not a rejection.
“No one wants to work” is an insult.
I was going to type this long post detailing my thoughts, feelings, grievances. But I am just so tired.
