So, my job paid me with someone else’s hours. Now they’re saying I won’t get paid until the time they accidentally paid me, is paid back. One manager I don’t even work under told me and the one who made the mistake relayed the message through him. But even the manager who isn’t technically my manager, admitted it was their mistake. They have been real chill about me calling off and I made a friend who I’d hate to burden with extra work. However, I want to just not show up again and they won’t be able to take any hours. Or, wild idea, they could eat the lose and learn from their mistake.
TLDR: Job trying to steal my hours, to fix their mistake.
