Title is self-explanatory
The reasons given were bullshit, accusing me of misrepresenting that I had an evidently required credential even though I did not list it on my resume and they did not include it in the job description. I had also told HR that I lacked the credential and asked whether the credential was necessary. The employer will not let me start later and get the required credential. I did not give notice at my current job, so the bills will still get paid.
Moral of the story: even “values” employers drop you and two weeks' notice is a scam
