Just advanced my 2 week notice to one day bc boss decided to advertise my position with actual full time and benefits.

As above. Worked a small business IT shop that made residential calls. Kinda like TV repairmen but for PCs. Drive to customers' homes, work on pc or just clean it up and speed it up, collect payment, leave. I was fine with this. Left an ok job to come work for this guy as he HIRED me as a full-time employee. But that's the issue. He fucking lied. I was only being paid for the time at the appointments I was scheduled. “But drive times?” – made Less than my normal hourly rate as compensation. No actual milage, just paid for “drive times” “Was it a company car?” – No. It was my personal vehicle. “Did you have a gas card?” – No. The time I was driving was put on my paycheck, making it taxable, and losing me even more money. “Benefits?” – basically none, as I didn't make…

“Benefits?” – basically none, as I didn't make actual full time. There was one 'benefit', where if I met 2 of 3 nearly impossible goals (mostly due to clientele) in two separate pay periods, then I get one paid day off….

… that was averaged out by time I had worked during those 2 pay periods… and expired in a month, didnt accrue, and had to work around my already booked out schedule. Sounds like a benefit RIGHT?

So what is he offering for the new replacement?

Fulltime at 28.5 hours a week (which was my old average)
Paid vacation and sick leave (which I addressed on my 2 week)
Room for upward movement (blatant lie, as the only people that work there is the person running the entire business for him, and then my boss)
Yearly raises (which I didn't see one in my 2 years of working there, and guy mentioned above just got one after 3 years)
Health insurance (running-the-business guy has to pay for half of his, was never offered to me)

So I gave him his shit back. Left him what apps I had left, said were done.

I'm on 3 new meds because this guy basically gave me, 23 and fairly healthy dude, what my doc equated to a FUCKING STROKE. Fuck small business IT
