So I work in banking (not my choice but in London it’s an easy job to get).
So I want for an interview (each last an hour), first guy wanted to hire me in the spot (direct manager), second person (his manager ) told me I will be fine in the last interview, just be myself. 3rd interview was ok, not amazing, but no problem. 4 interview, someone I will never interact with in the role didn’t like the answer to one of his questions. He asked for a textbook definition of something. Excuse me wtf, I have 12 years experience in the industry and you are offering me a 3rd basic rate (more after bonus) I am so extremely pissed. 4 hours of my time and some cunt I will never interact with is the reason I don’t get the job.
If anyone is still reading don’t even bother if a company asked for more than 3 interviews.
Waste of fucking time and money. Luckily it’s all remote nowadays or it would have cost me £250, so maybe$400 for a no.
Never even bother interviewing for less than you are worth. My mistake
Edit: I will happily name the company if people are interested
