Just found my old job posting…

Crosspost from another sub, was recommended to post here: Rant ahead, apologies first. I just left a job I LOVED. literally I loved everything about it, the culture, the company, the people… I left solely because I was head hunted and offered the same flexibility, more options for moving up, and better wages. I had asked about promotions and raises months ago. I made 59k, and there were 2, maybe 3 if I wanted to be a manager, levels above me that would be attainable in my career. I was an associate quality engineer, I just found my job posted as a Quality Engineer, for a range of 86-109k. I would've stayed. I was worth 86k, I did the job of a qe. But I was never offered even a dime more. Much less a promotion and raise. I have so many emotions. I am heartbroken, angry, and also sad…

I had asked about promotions and raises months ago. I made 59k, and there were 2, maybe 3 if I wanted to be a manager, levels above me that would be attainable in my career.

I was an associate quality engineer, I just found my job posted as a Quality Engineer, for a range of 86-109k.

I have so many emotions. I am heartbroken, angry, and also sad to be glad I left a company that capparently valued me so little they let me and my experience go to hire new. They lost my in-job experience for no reason. 86k would be more than what I left for too. And even though my new job has more options for moving up, if 1 level would be a 30k raise, I imagine each level would be a great increase, and I would've been happy with a 2-3 level increase over my career for the same money potentially as my new role where I can advance many more times over.

Ugh, thanks for letting me vent.
