Just got fired… and that’s all I have to say about that.

I'm sure some entrepreneurs and business owners may struggle with this one so I'll keep it short, but… Real leaders share the spoils of good fortune. Without needing a law or outside pressure to do so. There is most likely a chance that most of us know a loved one or friend who has befitted from the exploitation of those below them in some intangible, illogical societal structure. An overwhelming majority of supervisors, managers, bosses, owners, investors, entrepreneurs, politicians, millionaires, billionaires, oligarchs (or whatever other euphemism you want to classify them as), has at one point or another gotten a paycheck, bonus, benefit, promotion, award, or some other “perk” for their ability to raise profit margins or lower expenses and payroll, and take advantage of laws designed to take advantage of workers. This system persists because the system applauds this exploitation “at work” and quite frankly uses it as both…

Real leaders share the spoils of good fortune.

This system persists because the system applauds this exploitation “at work” and quite frankly uses it as both a carrot on a stick, and boot of oppression… but outside of work there is zero accountability or responsibility. Outside of that environment, they're just our parents, siblings, relatives, friends, teammates, drinking buddies, one of the guys, co-workers, politicians. We as humans need to do what the governments and organizations designed to facilitate our evolution aren't, and frankly can't…

Politely and empathetically call these people out on their bullshit and toxic behavior. If we really love and care about people, or our society, we can't stand for this behavior or system to be accepted as even normal. Because we all know it's not. It's conditioned. Through tolerance.

A disease forcefully imprinted on our society for far too long.

Both the workplace and the world will be much better off once we evolve past this archaic, barbaric, combative, competitiveness. It has proven for centuries that is doesn't produce the best results, just produces the best for those in control of the rigged system… which is why they instinctually resist change. (It honestly still baffles me how most of the ones who benefit don't view themselves as cheats or frauds at some point. Although I assume most of them are smart enough to see it and just consciously choose to accept that is who they are because their environmental feedback loops reward them.)

I feel that the more one vehemently disagrees with this only shows how much that individual benefits. Obviously opposing viewpoints and questions are natural, but when some form of hostile energy rears it's head, it's a dragon only self-reflection can slay.

…and that's all I have to say about that.
