Just got rejected from a job for not showing enough enthusiasm for the role

Despite asking question about the company, it’s clients, the tech, the people, the day to day running of the company, the role in question and if the company does any charity work. I honestly feel these companies just want to see a fucking boner during the interview. Having to act like this just to get a job is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever encountered it just seems to be so humiliating and kinda socially engineering candidates to be a certain way. Does anyone else feel a sense of humiliation after experiences like this?
